EBL is a winner of the call for tender for setting up a center of excellence, in the Region of Puglia (Italy), for the development of best practices on e-Business and European economic integration.

The centre will increase the awareness and provide a better understanding of current and future economic developments and, it will carry out research and analysis of the impact of the most relevant EU-wide economic integration initiatives on the local economy.

It will contribute to increase adoption of e-Business technologies, by reducing the digital divide of the economic actors in the Region of Puglia and realising a more integrated market.

SMEs Guide for Electronic Invoicing in Europe

EBL is committed to support enterprises in achieving higher adoption of e-Business technologies, starting with e-Invoicing.

For this purpose, the Lab has published the European e-Invoicing Guide for SMEs which provides a general overview on e-Invoicing, different levels of process automation and their impact, with a focus on technical capabilities and legislative requirements. The Guide includes a user manual on how to get started and best practices to be used when exchanging invoice data. The European e-Invoicing Guide will be available in English, Italian and German.
